A pre-auction survey is a condition-based inspection of a property carried out before the sale, working within the tight timeframes that auction purchases demand. It focuses on identifying significant defects or costly repairs that may not be visible during a brief viewing, giving you a clear basis for your legal and financial due diligence.

While less detailed than a Level 2 or Level 3 survey, it covers enough ground to inform your decision and avoid costly surprises after completion. For older, larger or more complex properties, we may recommend a full Level 3 instead.
